Mission
Our Mission is Worshiping Christ, House of Prayer, Connecting to the Community and Caring for Families. Below you’ll find a description for each statement.
To help you remember, the first letter of each statement is the letters of our church name WHCC.
We will be people who sincerely seek a personal relationship
with the Lord Jesus and make Him the focus of everything we do.
We will be quick to hear from God, always prioritizing intimate dialogue with
God and making it central to our very existence.
Jesus has commissioned us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them to
obey Him and we believe it starts with our local community through relevant means.
We see the need for strong families through biblical values where each member of the family is treated
with respect and through the love of God is supported to accomplish their purpose in Christ.
Our Core Values
Together we shall commit to develop an intimate relationship with God through Christ rather than just learning about Him. In that, we can teach
biblical precepts while modeling and guiding others towards living righteously as followers of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the Lord of all lords and the only way to the one triune God. The acceptance of His unconditional act
of love towards us is what draws us all together and we will always allow Him to lead us as we exist by Him.
Prayer is simply listening and talking to God and we shall not shy away from this at all.
It doesn’t matter your age, career, nationality, race, or gender if you love Jesus.
For Him, we will commit to worshipping Christ just as He has made us and called us to worship Him.
Growing stronger families through biblical values is one of our focuses and we will encourage
it by trusting in God for all things, even in our difficulties.
Our love for Christ drives us to action, by helping or doing for others.
In worshipping God through Christ, we shall be outstanding and do all things to the best of our God-given ability.
Love for our Lord Jesus and the call to worship God by spreading the Good News drives us to join as children of God, despite our differences.
